Departmental Overview
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics consists of more than 275 staff members and coaches and sponsors 30 varsity sports programs. These 30 programs include more than 850 student-athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).
Position Summary
The Assistant Video Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Director of Football Technology & Video in all aspects of the Football Technology & Video Department. These aspects include, Weekly video exchange with opponents; creating opponent and self-scout video breakdowns for offense, defense and special teams using the Catapult Video system; filming practice and games at home and on the road; producing and filming clinic videos; archiving and organizing media library of historical video assets; coordinating video setups for special functions including banquets, recruiting weekends, and coaching clinics; producing various videos for banquets and promotions; managing and hiring student video assistant staff for video coverage of practices and games; assisting the Director of Football Technology with problem solving general technology issues that arise within the football department.

Responsibilities
- Creating opponent and self-scout video breakdowns for offense, defense, and special teams using the Catapult Video system.
- Weekly video exchange with opponents.
- Filming practice and games at home and on the road.
- Producing and filming clinic videos.
- Managing Undergraduate Student Assistants.
- Coordinating video setups for special functions including banquets, recruiting weekends, and coaching clinics.
- Archiving and Organizing media library.
- Producing various videos for banquets and promotions.
- Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the Catapult Video Server and Workstations.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of program activity and best practices.
- Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties.
- Must possess an advanced level of various computer software knowledge including but not limited to the following software programs: (Catapult Thunder Football; Ultimate Pro Football Focus; Adobe Premier Pro).
- Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00.
This is an exempt monthly-paid position.
