Offer Description
The employment contract will be concluded for a fixed period from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, for part-time working hours of 16 hours per week.
Requirements for the position
- doctorate of science in the field of anthropology, cultural studies, or sociology,
- valid election to the title of assistant for the field of anthropology, or meeting the requirements for election to the title,
- organizational skills, ability to work in a team,
- strong communication skills, independence, self-initiative, practical skills, ability to counsel,
- active knowledge of Slovenian and English,
- skills for working with computers and audiovisual equipment,
- good knowledge of the MS Office software package and Microsoft Outlook.
What we expect from the candidate
- second-cycle higher education degree (Master's) in the field of cultural studies and anthropology,
- professional knowledge in the field of indigenous studies,
- experience in preparing teaching materials,
- knowledge of tools and applications for creating, preparing, and designing learning materials,
- desire for continuous professional and scientific-research development in the subject area,
- creativity, motivation, responsiveness, accuracy, and cooperativeness.

Specific Requirements
Due to teaching in English in the first-cycle Anthropology program, preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching students in English.
If the selected candidate does not hold a valid election to the title, the employment contract will be concluded upon election to the title.
