Specific Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in coaching team (Practice planning, individual workouts, game strategy, scouting reports, etc…)
• Assist in developing and implementing training and game plans.
• Secondary Academic Coordinator for the softball team including study hall monitoring, class attendance, class registration, grade monitoring, and progress towards graduation.
• Assist Head coach with recruiting (i.e. tournaments, showcases, games and camps) scheduling, organizing unofficial/official visits, tryouts etc…
• Organize and inventory of softball equipment and uniforms
• Assist in game day preparations including bat list preparation and bat testing.
• Assist in scouting and video analysis.
• Assist with organization and implementation of fundraising opportunities, (which include, but are not limited to facility rentals, Rockies 50/50 raffle, Red & Blue Fund, etc…)
• Lead organizer of camps and clinics (Nike Youth Camp, Prospect Camps, etc.)
• Community service coordinator and monitor community service hours through HelperHelper.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous playing and/or coaching at high level/competitive softball

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of collegiate coaching
