Offer Description
The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions stated in Art. 113 and 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws: 2024, item 1571, as amended) as well as those stated in the Szczecin University Statute and fulfill the criteria indicated in the competition.
The competition is the first stage of the procedure of employing academic staff, and its positive outcome is the basis for further proceedings.
The candidate should fulfill the following criteria:
- have a Master’s degree (or higher degree) in the discipline of psychology.
- have Polish language skills (in writing and speaking) at least at B2 level.
Candidates entering the competition should submit the following documents:
- a statement of compliance with requirements as specified in Art. 113 of the Act of 20th July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws: 2024, item 1571, as amended) - form available at website;
- a letter of application;
- CV and questionnaire (form available at website);
- a document (or certified copy thereof) confirming the academic degree, if documents are not in Polish, a certified translation is required as well as a certificate of equivalence to the Polish academic degree;
- information on academic achievements, and/or didactic experience and a list of publications - if applies;
- references from previous employer - if applies, or references from thesis supervisor/adviser;
- a statement that Szczecin University will be the candidate's main place of employment (form available at website);
- a candidate's consent for the processing of personal data by Szczecin University in the recruitment process (form available at website).
- statement from the National Criminal Register of a clean criminal record in scope of crimes stated in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, and Articles 189a and 207 of the Penal Code (JoL: 2024, item 17, as amended), as well as the Counteracting Drug Addiction Act of 29 July 2005 (JoL: 2023, item 1939, as amended), or for prohibited acts corresponding to these crimes specified in the provisions of foreign law - resulting from the Counteracting Sexual Crime Threats and Protecting Minors Act of 13 May 2016 (JoL: 2024, item 560).

Benefits
The remuneration for this position includes:
- base remuneration from 4 830,00 PLN gross (the minimum amount resulting from the Remuneration Regulations) to 5 296,00 PLN gross (average basic salary for a given position in a given organizational unit, and in the absence of a position in a given organizational unit, the average salary for this position at the University) - Annex No. 1 to Order No. 2/2025 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 22 Jan 2025 amending the order on the adoption of the Remuneration Regulations at the University of Szczecin and § 5 Section 5 of Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023 on the adoption of the Remuneration Regulations at the University of Szczecin;
- functional allowance for persons holding managerial positions or employed in managerial positions (Annex No. 9 to Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- seniority allowance ranging from 0% to 20% (§ 16 Section 1 of Order no. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- additional annual remuneration after meeting statutory requirements (§ 23 of Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- anniversary award (§ 22 of Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- retirement or disability severance pay (§ 24 Section 1 point 2 of Order no. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 June 2023, as amended).
A person employed in this position may, in justified cases, receive:
- Rector's Award (§ 19 of Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- task allowance (§ 17 section 1 20 of Order no. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 June 2023, as amended);
- project task allowance (§ 10 Section 1 of Order no. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended);
- an increase of the basic remuneration by 10% for a period not longer than 12 months before the termination of the employment contract due to retirement after meeting other conditions (§ 25 of Order No. 80/2023 of the Rector of the University of Szczecin of 5 Jun 2023, as amended).
Depending on financial possibilities, the employer may provide the employee with health insurance (basic package).
