Responsibilities may include the following: (1) teaching undergraduate courses specific to the Construction Management major, including Intro to Construction Management, Construction Law and Contracts, Construction Safety, Estimating and Cost Control, Construction Technology, and Senior Capstone; (2) leading curriculum development; (3) coordinating efforts for ABET and ACCE program accreditation; (4) engaging in research opportunities suitable for undergraduate majors; and (5), engaging in service, scholarship, and student advisement. The teaching load is 12 credits per semester (fall and spring), and the successful candidate will support the mission and identity of the College.
Requirements. For tenure-track, Ph.D. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or a closely related field. For non-tenure-track, master’s degree in Construction Management or closely related field, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Preference will be given to candidates with prior, relevant college-level teaching experience and professional industry experience.
