Department SummaryThe Associate Director, Clinical & Workforce Experiences provides operational leadership for strategic initiatives that advance the online student experience and support institutional enrollment, engagement, and retention goals. Reporting to the Senior Director of Affinity Programs & Student Engagement, this position leads the implementation and continuous improvement of ExperienceHub and other strategic initiatives by developing scalable processes, coordinating cross-functional implementation, and building the operational infrastructure needed to support institutional growth.
Working collaboratively with academic colleges and university partners, the Associate Director translates strategic priorities into sustainable operations, ensuring initiatives are implemented consistently, efficiently, and with measurable impact. The position develops systems, processes, and operational models that increase institutional capacity, improve organizational effectiveness, and enable OHIO Online to scale innovative programs and services.
Position ProfileOversees designated academic program or center and related activities. Manages assigned budget and/or financial responsibilities for program. Evaluates program and provides strategic recommendations for change as needed. Represents program to internal and external contacts. Collaborates with University schools, departments, units regarding program. May be responsible for staff management, compliance monitoring, and writing/reviewing program communications.
Level SummaryProvides professional expertise to the University community. Serves as a resource and guide to others in the department and/or university. Completes operational tasks essential for the daily functioning of the University. Additionally, contributes to larger projects or initiatives that align with department or University goals, often collaborating across teams.

Physical RequirementsThis role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Healthcare professionals must hold, or be eligible for, appropriate licensure as required by position.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, interdependent work, and competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to influence, coordinate, and accomplish work through others, including individuals and teams outside of direct supervisory authority. Experience designing, implementing, documenting, and continuously improving scalable operational processes and workflows. Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and sustainable operations, including working independently and solving problems when processes or solutions are not fully defined. Pay Rate: The target salary range is $51,281 to $67,947 commensurate with the selected candidate's education and experience while considering internal equity.
