Exciting Opportunity at MSK:

Play a pivotal leadership role in advancing patient-centered Radiology operations during a period of significant growth and innovation.

Role Overview:

  • Serve as the primary administrative, operational, and strategic partner to the Service Chiefs for Interventional Radiology (IR) and Molecular Imaging Therapy Service (MITS)--two of Radiology's fastest-growing and most operationally complex services.
  • Interventional Radiology and Theranostics are key drivers of innovation and revenue growth for the institution, delivering minimally invasive treatments that improve patient outcomes, expand access to care, and position the hospital as a regional leader in advanced radiologic therapies.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations, including clinical workflow, staffing models, scheduling, fiscal management, and resource allocation, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable operational workflows, including building and optimizing Epic scheduling and clinical workflows, particularly to support the rapid growth of theranostics, molecular imaging therapies, and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Partner with physician leaders, nursing leadership, and operational teams to modernize MITS into a clinic-based care model, comparable to infusion or ambulatory care services, supporting increased patient volumes and regulatory complexity.
  • Support strategic expansion of IR and MITS services across regional sites, including planning for physician, APP, nursing, and administrative staffing, equipment needs, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with departmental and institutional leadership to drive strategic planning, financial stewardship, and performance improvement, informed by data, volume trends, and anticipated future needs.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of managers and administrative staff, fostering an engaged, empowered workforce and a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of directly related experience supporting a large, complex clinical practice, preferably within an academic medical center.
  • Proven senior leadership experience, with demonstrated expertise in Radiology operations.
