The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is preferred in surgical pathology with interest in head and neck and endocrine pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. or equivalent. All applicants must be certified by the American Board of Pathology, AP-only or AP/CP.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include participation in the Surgical Pathology service with coverage of Head and Neck and Endocrine Pathology services at Penn Medicine, including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital and its affiliates, general frozen section service, autopsy service and night/weekend call. Coverage of additional pathology subspecialties will be considered. The main practice site will be Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include development of an independent or highly collaborative research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of anatomic pathology, particularly head and neck or endocrine pathology.
