Position Overview

Salary range: The salary range for the rank position is $655,679 - $753,601. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position Description

The oldest continually operating medical school in the Los Angeles area, for over 100 years the UCI School of Medicine has been in operation... [full description of school and department follows, including missions, rankings, infrastructure, departments, etc.]

The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine has built excellent relationships... priorities for the new incoming Chair will include building a central lab and pathology clinical service with a hub and spoke model across the health enterprise, digitizing anatomic pathology, expanding the reference lab, and increasing specialization of anatomic pathology.

Eligibility:

• An MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent.
