Required:
- A Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field
- Strong record of securing external funding, with a focus on developing and applying advanced quantitative methods to pressing questions in health and/or related outcomes
- An established record of effective mentoring and teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Preferred:
- Ability to develop novel course offerings at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- A strong record of research on cutting-edge data analytics, such as (intensive) longitudinal modeling, dynamic modeling, psychometrics, and structural equation modeling
- Capable of participating in research utilizing multidisciplinary collaboration.

Description:
As part of a multi-year strategic hiring and growth initiative in Applied Psychological Science, the Department of Psychology at The University of Oklahoma is seeking applications for a tenure track or tenured faculty position in Quantitative Psychology with a focus on Health Outcomes at the Associate or Full Professor level. This position aligns with the strategic plans in Psychology and in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Partnerships (https://www.ou.edu/research-norman). The anticipated start date for this position will be August 16, 2026.
The Psychology department offers the PhD in Cognitive, Industrial/Organizational, Applied Social and Developmental, and Quantitative Psychology (Norman campus), and an MA in Organizational Dynamics (Tulsa campus). Additionally, some faculty members also work in a multidisciplinary degree program in cellular and behavioral neurobiology.
For the tenure track or tenured Associate or Full Professor position in Quantitative Psychology, the department seeks a leader in developing and applying advanced quantitative methods to pressing questions in health and/or related outcomes. Current quantitative faculty are known for their interdisciplinary scholarship in areas including (intensive) longitudinal modeling, dynamic modeling, psychometrics, and structural equation modeling. We are eager to welcome a colleague whose expertise will complement and extend this core, fostering new collaborations within the department and across the university. A record of securing external research funding is essential, and a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration is highly valued. The successful candidate will be an established investigator with a commitment to excellence in mentoring graduate students and teaching in our quantitative psychology curriculum. Must hold a Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field. Teaching load of 2:2.
