Bring your expertise in anatomy to a role where your teaching and research can make a real difference. As Associate Professor in Anatomy, you will contribute to the Biomedical Science academic team, delivering engaging learning experiences across foundational and advanced anatomy within our undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Alongside your teaching, you will continue to grow your scholarly research and professional expertise, helping strengthen the School’s academic profile and contributing to work that connects our students, research, and knowledge with industry, government, and the communities we serve.

You will:
- lead a strong program of scholarly research, securing competitive funding, guiding significant projects and mentoring emerging researchers, while contributing knowledge that advances the discipline;
- deliver and lead high quality learning and teaching, shaping engaging curricula and learning experiences that inspire students and support excellent teaching practice;
- build meaningful partnerships with industry, government and community, creating collaborations that deliver positive outcomes for the University and our region; and
- contribute to leadership and governance within the School and University, supporting collegial collaboration and a positive, inclusive academic culture.

You will possess:
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant field and extensive experience as an academic leader.
- A strong record of contributing to and influencing the development of your discipline or field.
- A clear, coherent research program with a sustained track record of high-quality outputs, measurable impact, recognition from peers, and successful supervision of Higher Degree by Research candidates.
- Proven research leadership, including mentoring early career researchers, strengthening team and institutional research capacity, and contributing to national and international discipline panels.
- Excellence in teaching and learning, demonstrated through engaging, research-informed teaching, leadership in curriculum design, and a focus on student success and engagement.
- Positive leadership and personal qualities that foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing academic environment.
- Extensive experience in academic administration and the ability to contribute effectively to University operations.
- A track record of building and maintaining productive partnerships at regional, national, and international levels that benefit students, the University, and the broader community.
- Postgraduate qualifications in higher education and formal recognition for excellence in research and/or teaching (desirable)
