Specialized portable equipment includes a computerized sensor walkway system and attachable 3-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor system to allow tracking functional movement assessments external to lab spaces. An additional lab includes 921 square feet of dynamic research space with split-belt treadmill and biometric exercise testing equipment.

The St. David’s School of Nursing offers CCNE-accredited undergraduate and graduate programs, including a traditional BSN, an online RN-to-BSN, an MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner, an MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a DNP program launching in Fall of 2026. The school includes over 30 faculty and staff serving over 230 undergraduate and over 100 graduate students across the Round Rock and San Marcos campuses. The Nursing Building features over 5,734 square feet of state-of-the-art simulation and laboratory space with high and low fidelity manikins and video capabilities to support clinical education. The school also includes an additional research suite that can be configured to include a bench lab.

Texas State’s Round Rock Campus is centrally located in a thriving healthcare corridor, offering rich opportunities for collaboration with regional healthcare providers.
