"Associate Professor/Professor and Chair of Management"

The Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University seeks a dynamic and innovative Chairperson for the Department of Management who possesses a strong record of scholarship, teaching, and service, along with demonstrated leadership experience in higher education. The successful candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to fostering excellence in research, teaching, and service and possess a clear vision for advancing the department's educational, research, and community engagement efforts.

This is a 12-month administrative position with a tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The preferred start date is July 2026.

Candidate must have an earned doctorate in management, business administration, or a closely related field and a record of scholarly activity commensurate with appointment as a professor or associate professor. They must have six or more years of demonstrated excellence in leadership and administration
