Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Associate Registrar for Curricular Operations provides strategic direction, program development and assessment for assigned areas. This position maintains primary responsibility for curriculum implementation, academic scheduling, and graduation, and manages related operations, policies, and systems. The role is responsible for development and publication of the University Catalog annually, as well as management of the degree audit tool. The role leads centralized academic scheduling for the university. The position also manages Program of Study, cohort codes, and similar areas related to degree progress and conferral. The Associate Registrar for Curricular Operations supervises the Assistant Registrar for Graduation, Assistant Registrar for Degree Progress, Assistant Registrar for Academic Scheduling, and Assistant Registrar for Catalog, and provides next-level management for Enrollment Specialists and student/hourly staff. As a member of the Registrars Leadership team, this position serves on committees at the division and institutional level, cross-trains on office duties and completes special projects as assigned. This position is responsible for system maintenance, testing, and enhancements for assigned areas, including frequent collaboration with IT.
Required Qualifications:

- Masters degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years full-time higher education experience that includes one year of related supervisory experience
- Experience working with a student information system, such as Ellucian Banner.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Two or more years working in the Registrars Office
- Experience supporting the development and implementation of curriculum
- High technical fluency, experience working on strategic initiatives and policy implementation, demonstrated commitment to education access and student success at an open-enrollment institution
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish
