Asst. Coach - Women's Volleyball
Position Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Coach – Women's Volleyball for Athletics Events – Operations.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Assists in the coordination of a Women's Volleyball intercollegiate athletic program which provides an opportunity for student-athletes to train and compete on a competitive, Division I women's volleyball program while attending school to earn a college degree.
- Assists with recruiting potential student athletes.
- Assists in developing, teaching and instructing the student-athletes in competition, conditioning and skills and techniques on the court.
- Assists in the scouting of opponents thru video and statistical analysis and willingness to learn coding software for practice and game analysis.
- Works with graphics, marketing and video departments to create promotional correspondence and materials for distribution to recruits thru traditional media and social media.
- Assists the Director of Operations if/when necessary regarding team operation and travel needs.
- Assists in fundraising and public relations events that support the objectives of the program and allow for program enhancement.
- Builds effective partnerships with co-workers throughout the University by freely sharing appropriate information and providing assistant when needed.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree.
Special Conditions
- Nights and weekends will be required.
- Clean Driving Record.
