JOB TITLE:
Associate Professor or Assistant Professor
JOB PURPOSE:
The mission of the Division of Communication Disorders is to
advance the science behind practice, develop practice ready
speech-language pathologists to serve the communication needs of
individuals from all backgrounds. The successful candidate will
contribute to these efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Division of Communication Disorders at the University of
Wyoming is seeking an Associate or Assistant Professor in
speech-language pathology with a strong preference for candidates
with commensurate experience at the Associate level in alignment
with division tenure and promotion standards. This is a full-time,
9-month, tenure-track position. Primary responsibilities include
sustaining a research program in areas of interest, teaching, and
service. On campus presence is required for teaching and other
duties. Salary and benefits are competitive, and start-up package

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Assistant Professor Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Earned doctorate in speech-language pathology or related
discipline and evidence of potential for independent research
productivity and publications by time of appointment. Experience:
Evidence of promise for scholarly achievement, potential to develop
an independent research program, and potential for high-quality
teaching. Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR)
compliant with the
Driving for University Business
SAP.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
All areas of expertise will be considered, but expertise in
dysphagia, cognitive communication disorders, voice disorders,
craniofacial disorders, stuttering, speech and/or hearing science
is desirable.
