About the Role
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic healthcare professional to join our dynamic and innovative Physician Associate faculty. The post holder will lead a module in either community medicine or elderly care and deliver teaching across the programme. You will also assist with assessment and student support duties. The post holder will be supported in their professional development in medical education.
The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London; however, the post holder will be expected to attend other QMUL campuses: St Bartholomew’s, Mile End and Ilford. It is a part time (14 hours per week) permanent appointment, with an expected start date of November 2024. The starting salary will be pre-2009, in the range of £55,336 -£65,955 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London allowance
About You
You are a healthcare professional with a relevant degree with experience in either primary care or elderly care medicine. This role would be particularly suitable for a GP interested in medical education with previous experience of teaching and would like to take the next steps towards an academic career. You will require strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
