We are seeking experienced Azure Integration Engineer to augment the Admissions Transformation Program (ATP) delivery team.
The role is hands-on and delivery-focused within an established Azure Integration Services environment. This is not a greenfield architecture role and not a platform strategy role. The right candidate will build, modify and support integrations aligned to existing architectural patterns.
Specific accountabilities for this role include:
- Design and implement integrations using Azure-native services
- Build and maintain Logic App workflows
- Implement API integrations with internal and external vendors
- Configure and manage Azure Service Bus topics and subscriptions
- Develop Azure Functions (C# preferred)
- Contribute to CI/CD deployments using ARM/Bicep
- Support troubleshooting of integration flows across environments
- Assist with production issue resolution (including DLQ handling, retries, monitoring)
- Document implemented solutions
- Coach and mentor more other staff within immediate and wider teams, such as Functional Analysts and Business teams, to support development their business knowledge and functional expertise.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Azure WebApps (API Development, Open API, Swagger, etc)
- Azure Functions (.NET preferred)
- Azure Service Bus (Topics & Subscriptions)
- Azure API Management (policy configuration, OAuth/JWT validation)
- Azure Data Factory (pipeline orchestration and data movement)
- REST APIs and JSON payloads
- OAuth2 / Azure AD authentication and authorization
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- ARM or Bicep-based deployments
- This role requires technical depth in C# (.NET 6/7/8 preferred).
- 4–8 years total IT experience
- 2–4+ years in Azure Integration Services
- Experience delivering within a medium-to-large Azure program
- Comfortable working within defined architectural standards
- Able to debug distributed systems and trace issues across multiple services
- Candidates must be delivery-oriented and capable of contributing immediately in a structured Azure environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
This role is not suited to;
- BizTalk-only integration
- MuleSoft-only integration
- Legacy ESB platforms without Azure-native experience
- Infrastructure-only roles with limited integration delivery exposure
Azure-native implementation experience is essential.
