Job Description
BISWAS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP, Office of Innovation and Strategy, is a prestigious four-year postdoctoral opportunity at MIT supporting innovative, cross-disciplinary research through the MIT Health and Life Sciences (HEALS) Initiative.
The fellowship is designed for outstanding early-career researchers working in areas such as AI and health, low-cost diagnostics, therapeutics, neuroscience, women’s health, and fundamental life science. Will conduct original and collaborative research aligned with MIT HEALS; participate in programming and community events; engage with faculty, students, and external partners; and contribute through presentations, publications, and strategic activities.

REQUIRED: PhD, MD, or equivalent by December 31, 2025; strong interest in interdisciplinary health/life sciences research; and excellent communication, collaboration, and project skills.

This is a full-time appointment with a $90,000 annual salary (plus benefits and cost-of-living increases), research support, and access to translational resources. Fellows may work with MIT faculty from any department and must secure a letter of support from their proposed faculty host.
