Building Simulation and Digital Twins: New methods of reducing the performance gap of new and existing buildings (Ref: ABCE-EBE-SF)
This project seeks to use advanced simulation techniques, programming skills and data science technologies to study the potential of improving our generation of Digital Twins using Building Performance Simulation. The goal is the development of better digital twins which reduce the performance gap, align modelled with measured data, and improve our design of a secure, lowcarbon built environment.

Entry requirements:
Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A relevant master’s degree and/or experience is desirable.
