Location: Saïd Business School, Park End Street, Oxford

Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum including the Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per annum

Fixed-term (to 31 August 2027), full time (37.5 hours per week)

Saïd Business School is a vibrant and innovative business school, embedded within the 800-year-old University of Oxford. Our executive degree and diploma programmes offer senior leaders the opportunity to gain a world-class Oxford qualification while continuing to meet the demands of their professional roles.

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to play a key role in sustaining and growing these programmes by attracting high-calibre participants and building strong organisational partnerships. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating a strong pipeline of applicants and delivering approximately £2 million in annual revenue across a portfolio of executive degree and diploma programmes.

You will manage the full recruitment and sales cycle, working closely with faculty, programme teams, marketing and admissions colleagues to engage prospective participants, corporate sponsors and alumni. This is a highly collaborative, outward-facing role requiring strong relationship-building skills and commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities:

  • Recruit high-quality applicants and deliver against programme recruitment and revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle across multiple executive programmes
  • Represent programmes through presentations, events, networking and digital channels
  • Contribute to recruitment and marketing strategies in collaboration with internal teams
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including corporate partnerships and contracts

You will have a proven track record in a customer-facing, target-driven role, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to external audiences, and demonstrate strong commercial awareness and business acumen. A collaborative team player, you will work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
