Business Intelligence Specialist, Office of Innovation
Job Overview
The Business Intelligence Specialist will lead key initiatives across the Office of Innovation and the 1819 Innovation Hub. This role will collaborate closely with senior leadership to scope, plan, and execute high-impact projects aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities. Translate complex data into actionable insights that enhance business performance and inform strategic decision-making. Work cross-functionally to gather data requirements, develop dashboards, and deliver data-driven recommendations that support innovation and operational excellence.
Essential Functions
- Conduct research and data analysis to support decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Develop data models and create KPIs that align with strategic business objectives.
- Coordinate and track business intelligence and development strategies.
- Leverage AI tools and methodologies to analyze data, generate insights, and support strategic business decisions.
- Actively manage corporate relations platform.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support ongoing business operations.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform project planning and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Perform special projects related duties based on the needs of the Office of Innovation.

Minimum Requirements
- 3 Years of relevant experience
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree required; ideal in data-related fields.
Required Experience
- Experience using strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Understanding of statistics and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise manner.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: up to $100,000 annually dependent on candidate experience.
