Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or related degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or related Master's degree and 2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer a related Master's degree and 2-4 years of related experience or four-year degree in accounting, finance, or business management and 4 years of experience in accounting management.
- This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in creating Excel spreadsheets, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- This position will also be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of other financial systems such as inventory management, point of sale, and mobile ordering systems; 4+ years of experience managing similar systems is preferred.
- Prefer 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience, including development of employee performance plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires advanced competencies in planning, organizing, directing, budgeting, and training. This position requires the ability to use data analytics and technology to enhance revenue generation capacity of the department through improving existing programs and identifying new initiatives. This position requires an ability to work collaboratively across campus services and the University to enhance a wide variety of dining programs and services. This position requires advanced knowledge of internal control policies and procedures and an ability to make continuous improvements and recommendations to enhance these controls. This position currently independently supervises two accounting professionals, a procurement specialist, and student employees in Campus Dining and would be responsible for training/cross training, identifying growth opportunities, and performance-management of these employees. This position will be responsible for recommending and implementing long-range growth-projections and must have an ability to anticipate problems and develop resolution strategies. This position must also have an ability to develop written documents and/or reports on complex matters that can be understood by both internal and external audiences, provide documentation of conclusions and recommendations that are fully supported and based on a broad knowledge of strategic goals, provide documentation and reports that have an impact on policy and/or operations, and communicate information involving complex matters (both internal and external) to the department or organization.
Financial Management: This position is accountable for preparing budgets and corresponding reports, forecasting, and the financial accounting of all revenues and expenses for the Campus Dining Department. This position requires an ability to compile and use data analytics and technology to make recommendations to unit managers and Directors that enhance the revenue generation capacity of various department units. This position reviews/prepares: journal entries, reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, financial activity analysis, monthly financial statements, variance analysis, employee time sheets, fund authority forms, and budget revisions.
Food Production System: Responsible for providing the leadership and accountability in Jamix. Food purchasing, inventory, and nutrition modules are maintained in this system.
Major Facility Maintenance and Capital Improvements:This position provides recommendations to department leadership regarding capital improvements budget and fiscal forecasting.
Contracts: This position has direct oversight of Campus Dining's procurement process. Key contracts include, but are not limited to: GPO, Broad liner, Pouring Rights, Vending, Point of Sale, Mobile Ordering, Menu and Inventory Management, and key retail offerings. This position is responsible for ensuring that all procurement and contracts are compliant with all applicable laws and University policies.
Business Continuity: All Campus Dining employees may be required to work during home football games or other special campus events as needed. Campus work location may vary depending on the event. All Campus Dining employees are classified as mandatory employees and are required to report to or remain at work in the event of an emergency.
Work Schedule/Hours:Typical hours of work are Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00 pm
Suggested Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
