Campaign Lead, Science

In this role, you will lead audience-centred campaigns for Science Gallery Melbourne and other cultural venues. You will connect diverse communities with research, teaching and collections, shaping how they experience science, culture and innovation.
What you will deliver:
- Coordinate integrated, audience-led marketing campaigns for venues, exhibitions, public programs, and academic and education initiatives.
- Plan and execute strategic communications, including media outreach, publicity, briefing materials and speaking points with internal partners.
- Produce compelling written and visual content, and manage distribution across web, email and social media channels.
- Coordinate visitor evaluation and campaign reporting, sharing insights to inform programming, marketing strategy and stakeholder engagement.
- Support philanthropy, sponsorship and stakeholder events, including launches, openings, collateral development and stakeholder list management.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or bring equivalent experience in cultural or marketing environments.
- Demonstrate proven success delivering audience-led marketing campaigns with a strong focus on audience development.
- Create engaging digital content for web, email and social media, using contemporary tools and platforms.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, with strong writing, editing and presentation capabilities.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal teams, external agencies and stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns and events.
- Work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, applying culturally safe and accountable engagement practices.
