Job Summary

Serve as lead worker in collection of recyclable wasted materials from designated campus collection sites for delivery for transfer. Ensure collection sites are maintained in proper condition. Coordinate recyclable waste collection for special events. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Facilities management/supervision and recycling crew members. This position will typically advise and counsel: recycling crews. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Monitor and participate in collection and transfer of recyclable materials from designated stations.

Job Duty 2 -
Oversee collection of paper and cardboard recycling program.

Job Duty 3 -
Service Satellite Recycling Stations.

Job Duty 4 -
Advise Campus Recycling Foreperson on work related requirements or issues.

Job Duty 5 -
Service solid waste stations through pickup and delivery of solid waste at designated sites.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Three to four years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Five years of job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires a working knowledge of processes required for transporting materials, space utilization, warehousing, stock handling, and storage. The job requires skills in work leadership, motor vehicle operation and use of mobile equipment, hand/power tools, pressure washer, light equipment, and fork lifts.

Job Grade: C4A

Pay Range: $22.18

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:55am - 3:25pm
