Job Description
The Department of Physics in the Faculty of Science at Toronto Metropolitan University invites applications for a Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Medical Imaging, Translational Imaging, Ultrasound Molecular Imaging, Lung Imaging, Theranostics, or Quantitative Imaging. This is a tenured faculty position for a non-renewable eight-year period, with no required teaching duties. At the end of the term, the successful candidate will continue in a tenured role with standard faculty responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be nominated for the CERC program, with appointments at the Associate or Full Professor rank. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The role involves joining a growing ecosystem in Medical Imaging, supported by over $22M in infrastructure and funding, and collaborating with Toronto's research hospitals and the new School of Medicine.

Preferred and Required Qualifications
Candidates must be tenured at the rank of Full or Associate Professor, hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, demonstrate outstanding research, and commit to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
