Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is seeking a Career Services Manager to join the AUM Career Development Center team. The Career Services Manager provides leadership and coordination for career services and programs, employer recruitment activities, technology platforms, and assessment initiatives that support the career development and professional success of AUM students and alumni.

Responsibilities
- Provide career development services to AUM students and alumni, including student professional development programming and resources, job and internship search strategies, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation and mock interviews, and related services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, human resources, business, communication, education, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in career services, student services, employer relations, recruiting, human resources, workforce development, or a related area.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of career development theories and practices.
- Knowledge of higher education, student affairs, and career services practices.
- Knowledge of organizational recruitment, selection, talent acquisition, and employer recruiting practices.
- Knowledge of job and internship search strategies, professional networking, interviewing, and employment preparation.
- Knowledge of career services technology, applicant tracking systems, career management platforms, and talent management software.
- Knowledge of assessment, data collection, program evaluation, and reporting practices.
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and ethical considerations related to employment and recruiting.
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Data management and reporting skills.
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills using platforms such as Canva or similar tools.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to students, alumni, campus partners, and employer representatives.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain accurate records.
