Department Summary
The Change Management Lead is responsible for the organizational change strategy and execution for a large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation spanning Human Resources, Finance, and OIT. The role reports to the Administrative Modernization Program manager and works closely with the project manager and three workstream leads to guide change management best practices and provide clear, timely communications regarding ongoing and upcoming changes to the Operational Network and broader University. Key areas of responsibility include stakeholder engagement, communications leadership, and organizational readiness.
The role provides leadership to projects or initiatives and may have a limited number of direct reports. Budgetary responsibilities are carried out in conjunction with the program manager, workstream leads, and executive leadership. Working in close collaboration with the Program Manager and Project Manager, the Change Management Lead makes high-level recommendations for implementing change management best practices.

Works with colleges, schools, and departments to understand and define business needs. Develops and recommends solutions. Plans implementation, integration and maintenance of solutions into business process or system design.

Regularly serves as a technical leader, expert, or program manager for complex functions or initiatives that require deep subject-matter knowledge. Significantly impacts the department by directly contributing to its performance and success.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides leadership to projects or initiatives. May have a limited number of direct reports.

May be responsible for budget for projects or initiatives.

Leads problem-solving efforts across various challenges.

Operates with high autonomy and is trusted to make decisions.
Communication and Collaboration
Frequently collaborates cross-functionally and represents the team in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Influences decision-making.
Physical Requirements
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
The position requires deep knowledge and applied use of change management models and frameworks; experience leading multidisciplinary teams across change management functional areas, including formal, matrixed, or project supervision; experience with enterprise-scale technology, process, and people transformation programs, particularly change management for Finance and HR ERP implementations such as Oracle, Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; effective communication across formats and with diverse constituencies; and preferably previous experience in higher education.

Pay Rate: Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity. This position offers the flexibility of either a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement. While most work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person meetings may be required. Flexplace agreements will be finalized upon hire.
