Under the supervision of the Dean of Business and Entrepreneurship, and in collaboration with other faculty, you will teach credit courses in the Digital Marketing program and have an opportunity to create a new Digital Marketing credential. The courses you teach will be online. You will focus on continuous improvement of your courses so that they are relevant and engaging, enhancing the ever-important student experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction
- Develop, maintain, and deliver competency-based instruction in accordance with the mission, vision, and philosophy of Nicolet College in the Digital Marketing program.
- Deliver instruction as assigned. (Online and virtually)
- Post and maintain regular office hours for student consultation.
Instruction-Related Support
- Inform students concerning course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance requirements.
- Continuously inform students on the progress of their learning in accordance with the learning centered philosophy of Nicolet College.
- Maintain accurate attendance, student success, and scholastic records of students.
Professional Development and Service to the College
- Maintain professional affiliations and certifications.
- Meet and maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in marketing, digital marketing or a closely related field.
- Two years (4,000 hours) of verifiable occupational work experience in digital marketing.
- Demonstrated success working in a social media capacity and/or building websites.
- Experience with one or more of the following marketing & analytics platforms: Wordpress, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Advertising Network, Facebook Advertising.
- Occupational experience must include one year (2,000 hours) within the past five years. Recent teaching experience in post-secondary higher education may substitute for up to one year of the occupational experience requirement.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and implications for digital marketing and social media.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in subject or related area.
- Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
- Subject area related industry certifications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Promote an educational philosophy which places the primary emphasis on student learning in the design, delivery and evaluation of learning.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Promote and model professionalism as an educator and business professional.
Physical Demands:

- The employee must demonstrate strong attention to detail and must be able to problem solve and perform complex tasks without error.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal classroom and office conditions and usual office equipment.
- The employee will be constantly required to talk, hear, and type/write.
- The employee will be frequently required to sit, touch/handle/grasp (using hands and fingers) and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally move up to 10 pounds of general office items.
- Specific hearing abilities required by this job include hearing normal speaking-level sounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, far, and field of vision.
Other
Compensation:
Adjunct instructors are extended an appointment letter for each course instructed. Benefits are not included with these part-time positions.
