"Child Care Worker"

Description

This is a temporary assignment which will end when funding or hours is exhausted.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must be a resident of the State of Illinois.
2. Skills and knowledge necessary to complete job functions.
3. DCFS Teacher Qualified: 60 semester hours, 6 in early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education

**PLEASE ATTACH A COPY OF THE ILLINOIS EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CREDENTIAL LEVEL 1 IN THE FIELD MARKED AS “CERTIFICATION/PROFESSIONAL LICENSE.”**

1. You must be able to supply transcripts.
2. Possession of credentials required by Illinois Department of Children and Family Services for employment as a Child Care Worker in a licensed child care facility. • This is a temporary assignment that will end at the discretion of the department or when funding or hours are exhausted.
• The hourly rate of pay is $20/hour
• Work Schedule: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Work hours may vary according to student/program needs)
