Posting Description
CIS PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Center for International Studies (CIS), will coordinate a range of activities such as CIS Faculty Projects, country and area programs, and other initiatives as they arise. This includes creating program communications and advertising programs; administering application and selection processes; maintaining websites and other communications assets; maintaining program databases; developing workflows and collaborating with colleagues to achieve overarching goals; and coordinating events logistics and promotion. Will provide additional support as needed.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; minimum of two years’ professional experience in an academic administrative position; excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail; ability to perform a wide range of complex and diverse duties with minimal supervision using a high degree of discretion and good judgment; ability to work independently and take initiative; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort with and ability to work with frequent interruptions in an open office environment; organized and detail orientated; excellent English language writing skills; excellent computer skills including experience with databases (Airtable a plus); tech-savvy and interested in learning new software as needed. PREFERRED: MIT experience.
Occasional weekday evening and weekend work will be required.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
This is a hybrid position with 3-4 days in the office, depending on program needs.
