Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Client Services Officer (Cleaning) to join Facilities Management, Administrative Division.
The Client Services Officer (Cleaning) is a key role in ensuring the consistency and quality of service provided by cleaning contractors. This will include activities associated with monitoring and improving the quality of cleaning services, reviewing and auditing service delivery and taking appropriate action to resolve problems associated with cleaning contractor performance. To align with Contractor on site activities, it is necessary for this position to commence daily duties at 5:00am.

The Facilities Management Department within the Administrative Division is responsible for managing the process of design, construction, maintenance and operation of the physical facilities, and the provision of a range of support services across the University's two main campuses at Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove and a range of smaller offsite facilities.
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant work experience equivalent to completion of an associate diploma, with subsequent relevant experience in the cleaning industry.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Integrated Work Management Systems.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and regulations, with the ability to apply these requirements and implement safe work practices at an operational level.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Current ‘C Class’ Driver’s Licence.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
