Position Summary:

The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is searching for a Clinical Instructor to provide speech pathology services and clinical supervision in the WCU Speech and Hearing Clinic.

This is an 11-month, fixed-term position, and it will require supervision of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical opportunities for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) MS students in settings including the WCU Speech and Clearing Clinic and off-campus sites.

Classroom teaching may be available based upon candidate qualifications and program needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this position:

Minimum Qualifications:

• ASHA CCC-SLP and eligibility for NC SLP licensure is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), pediatric feeding, and services for individuals with multiple and/or severe disabilities.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
