Ref 3516/24 Project Assistant - Lived Experience, School of Health Sciences
Part-time (0.3 FTE - 10.5 hours per week) fixed term until 30 June 2025

The School of Health Sciences is seeking a Project Assistant – Lived Experience.
About the role
The Project Assistant – Lived Experience will work closely with the Chief Investigator and Project Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support to the project team who work with a multitude of partners but focusing on our engagement with young mothers, the target audience of the project. The incumbent needs to possess a lived experience of young pregnancy/motherhood (becoming a mother at 24 years of age or younger) and, preferably, a lived experience of perinatal mental health issues.
The Project Assistant – Lived Experience will support the delivery of various tasks including: engagement with young mothers, promotion of the resource through social media and other channels, general project administration, regional travel logistics, event and stakeholder coordination and consultation, project evaluation tasks. The Project Assistant – Lived Experience will schedule meetings and appointments, prepare documents for meetings, while providing day-today administrative support to the team in their various roles. The position will be instrumental to the smooth operations of the project.
Working with Children Check:
It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
Applicants should be aware that this role will be based at Campbelltown campus, however as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 3 $23,858 to $26,017 p.a. (comprising Salary of $20,160 to $21,984 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
Note, the above salary range is pro-rata based on 0.3 FTE.
