Clinical Placement Coordinator
Job Description
Play a vital role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals as a Clinical Placement Coordinator. In this position, youll support Health Professions and Nursing programs by coordinating clinical placements and ensuring students are fully prepared for hands-on learning experiences in healthcare settings.
Youll manage the onboarding process for students, scheduling and facilitating orientations, trainings, and clinical clearances. Youll track and maintain accurate student records, ensuring all requirements - such as immunizations, certifications, and background checks - are completed on time and meet compliance standards. Working closely with faculty, students, and clinical partners, youll communicate updates, resolve issues, and support a smooth placement process. Youll also help maintain relationships with hospitals and healthcare agencies, assist with site visits, track contracts, and contribute to outreach, reporting, and long-term planning efforts.
This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with healthcare partners, faculty, and students. Proficiency with technology and data systems, sound judgment in handling confidential information, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are critical. A strong commitment to student success and the ability to represent the college in a professional, positive manner are key to success in this role.
If youre passionate about supporting students and building strong clinical partnerships, we encourage you to apply.
