Clinical Research Assistant B
Job Description Summary
The clinical research assistant will work with the Penn Center for Quantitative Echo and the Penn Cardio-Oncology clinical research program to support ongoing research projects. The research assistant will be responsible for logging and organizing echocardiograms; communicating with research sites participating on studies where Penn serves as the Echo Core Lab or Coordinating Center; communicating with sponsors to provide routine progress reports; entering data; and participating in ongoing QA/QC processes.

This position is contingent upon favorable funding.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and file echocardiograms for multiple studies where Penn serves as the Echo Core Lab; this includes filing related paperwork, backing up digital storage of echo images, and archiving echo images/files as required.
- Manage echo work queues for all sonographers to support quantitation activities for all studies.
- Completing data entry accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Managing a shared email inbox and assisting the core lab project manager in communicating with external sites that participate in studies where we serve as the Core Lab or Coordinating Center. Communicate with sponsors to provide routine progress reports.
- Generate monthly activity reports and work with business office to ensure invoicing is current.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Grad/GE Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
