"Clinical Research Assistant"

Job Description Summary

Clinical Research Assistant who provides assistance in support of clinical research studies in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) within Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) in partnership with the College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience

Skills/Experience Desired

Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in Cardiology may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.

This is a patient facing position and will be located at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Some evening and weekend hours may be required as needed by the approved the clinical research study.
