"Clinical Research Coordinator"

The position supports a nationally-funded grant focusing on diagnosing persons living with dementia in underserved primary care settings. The project focuses on the dementia diagnostic process related to primary care practice, patients with cognitive impairment, and caregivers. The position is critically important to the overall operational management of clinical research activities. It is directly responsible for implementing diverse research activities at numerous clinical sites.

Responsibilities include working with the team to manage the day-to-day operations of the research study, such as training, supporting, and monitoring activities at participating primary care sites. The role involves contributing to the development and implementation of data collection tools (e.g., surveys), data analysis, fostering partnerships, and leading community engagement efforts with the linical sites.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining tracking databases and coordinating the needs of clinical teams and study collaborators across multiple sites. Administrative duties involve drafting study protocols and managing IRB deliverables such as submissions, amendments, renewals, progress reports, and related materials. The role also assists the primary care teams with scheduling study participants, obtaining informed consent, and administering brief cognitive assessments.

This position requires extensive interaction with research collaborators at UCSF and across a variety of clinical and community-based settings.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate).
