"Clinical Social Worker III"

The Clinical Social Worker III (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) will be assigned to the Citywide Case Management CASC Team in partnership with the San Francisco Adult Probation Department (SFAPD). The incumbent will service a caseload of 25 individuals identified by SFAPD as needing mental health services. Clients will be re-entering the community after substantial and/or repeated periods of incarceration. The incumbent will provide comprehensive assessment, individual & group psychotherapy, crisis management, and linkages as needed. Clients will receive their mental health services at SFAPD's Community Assessment and Service Center (CASC). Clinician will be assisting clients in connecting to ongoing behavioral health care when needed. In addition, the CSWIII will be a lead clinician completing a special project (i.e. collaborative court liaison, leading trainings, supervising interns etc). The CSW III has advanced clinical knowledge/skills, can independently manage the referrals and waitlist for this position, and is distinguished from the CSW II by the leadership activities listed above (court liaison duties, training of new staff/partners, and spearheading other special projects as needed). The overall goal of CWCM and SFAPD's collaboration is to treat high risk clients, promote safe and sustained re-entry into the community and reduce recidivism into the criminal justice system. Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point.
