Summary
We are looking for a skilled psychotherapist, with experience and passion for severe mental illness, to become part of the EPIC-NOLA team as EPIC develops a hub-and-spoke model for coordinated specialty care services across the state of Louisiana. This therapist will provide behavioral health assessments, therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and/or other identified clinical services appropriate to stabilize and improve functioning of clients experiencing their first-episode of psychosis via telehealth for a new spoke first-episode psychosis clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in either counseling or social work
- 2 years of clinical experience beyond graduate school
- Licensed in the State of Louisiana with an LCSW or LPC
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the mental health evaluation of adolescents and young adults
- Experience with psychotic disorders
- Interest in research
- Training in multiple areas of psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive therapy
