Description

The Social Work - Basic Needs Professional Expert will conduct a comprehensive assessment of current practices, identify areas for operational and service improvements, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen the quality of care, student follow-up, and overall program impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Assessment: Conduct an in-depth review of the program, including processes for housing support, food security, case management, and community referral systems. Evaluate processes for efficiency, continuity, and trauma-informed practices.
  • Identify Improvements: Identify gaps, redundancies, and areas for improvement in current workflows and documentation systems. Collaborate with staff to understand program strengths and challenges.
  • Program Recommendations: Recommend evidence-based practices and process improvements for enhancing outcomes and service delivery. Develop tools, templates, or procedures to streamline services and support consistent case management. Provide training or guidance to staff, if needed and relevant. Deliver final report with key findings, proposed strategies, and implementation recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience working in housing services, case management, and/or social work with marginalized or at-risk populations.
  • Proven expertise in program assessment, development, and evaluation within educational or nonprofit settings.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and community resource navigation.

Work Schedule: TBD - Schedule and shift vary and are subject to change in accordance with the department's needs. Hours per Week: Up to 25
