Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training

models a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty
University, engage in an active commitment to, and experience
of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed

Liberty University’s Department of Family & Consumer Sciences
invites applications for an adjunct professor in its Event Planning
and Professional & Creative Industries Bachelor of Science
programs. The se program s are growing quickly, and the department
seeks an individual who is passionate about teaching event planning
and career courses. Candidates must embrace Liberty University’s

Requirements:
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in event
management, hospitality, business, or a related field
Demonstrated experience working in the events and creative
industries
Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate
students
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s or terminal degree in meeting and event management or
a related field
- Previous teaching experience in higher education or extensive
professional experience in the field

Courses are typically paid at $800 per load hour.
