Comfort Paws Program Coordinator
Scope of Position
The Program Coordinator for Comfort Paws, the patient, family and visitor focused therapy dog program, an animal-assisted therapy dog program focused on supporting patient well-being and enhancing patient experience, will be responsible for the oversight and administration of all aspects of the program for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). This position will be an integral member of the Buckeye Paws Administrative team and Advisory Board with a collaborative reporting relationship to the Office of Strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire: A Bachelors Degree, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in program planning and administration with an understanding of determinants of patient health and well-being. Excellent customer service skills and excellent computer skills to include Microsoft windows applications and database management. Ability to work primarily first shift but occasional variable hours.
