Community Project Analyst
The Community Project Analyst will report to and be responsible for performing project support, data collection and analysis, and creating synthesis documents for the general public and policy community for the Collaborative Learning for Equity and Respiratory health (CLEAR) Lab. The CLEAR Lab works to understand how place-based exposures, such as air pollution, green space, housing quality, contribute to respiratory health across a community and works closely with multisectoral partners to design and implement strategies to improve health. The incumbent will work closely with faculty, staff, and trainees in the ZSFG Pulmonary Division as well as with a diverse set of partners from the community, government, and other academic centers. The Community Project Analyst will specifically provide support for a several community-based projects on health and the environment that are located across the San Francisco Bay Area. Core responsibilities of the position include supporting programmatic implementation, data synthesis and analysis, and community and policy translation of findings to diverse stakeholders. The incumbent activities include but are not limited to supporting logistics for study implementation and associated events, communications with multi-sectorial partners, and collecting primary data through qualitative interviews and analyses.
The Community Project Analyst must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining critical attention to detail. The Community Project Analyst must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and organizational skills that allow them to perform in a fast-paced environment. They will need to be able to operate with a high level of autonomy, accurately analyze and respond to policy issues and inquiries, and provide guidance on personnel policies and procedures.
***NOTE:This is a Limited 50% for 12 months after start date.***
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $24.38 - $50.38 (Step Hourly Rate).
