Compensation: $52,555 - $85,400/Year

General Responsibilities
To work in a team environment and develop subject matter expertise in the areas of labor market research, total compensation, compensation structures, job classification, compensation information technology and/or Department of Labor (DOL) compliance. To become a strategic and collaborative partner with assigned clients in the functional areas of academics, research, medicine and/or support services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to assigned clients on pay decisions, policy interpretation, job evaluation processes and job description development.
- Participates in and gathers data from general job market-based compensation surveys.
- Uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assist in decision cost estimates, creating decision scenarios, reviewing job and employee equity and depicting job market trends.
- Assists assigned clients in developing compensation and reward strategies that attract and retain talent.
- Performs general salary reviews based on market-specific benchmarking to ensure internal and market competitiveness.
- Manages the administration of HR processes, actions and procedures for assigned clients and compensation projects and/or initiatives.
- Assists with special projects and analyses as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Ability to multi-task; Ability to operate various office machines including printers, computers and various software packages; Ability to problem-solve; Analytical skills; Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Organizational skills; Presentation skills; Prioritization skills; Process improvement and quality skills; Written and verbal communication skills.
