Job Description:
The SUNY Broome Community College Computer Science Department is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Computer Science Instructor to join our faculty for the Fall 2026 semester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction with a specialization in Cybersecurity and Computer Networking, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and preparing students for careers in this critical technology field or for further studies. This role requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success in a diverse community college setting. This is an in-person, full-time, tenure-track appointment.
The Promoting Recruitment, Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion and Growth Plus Community College (PRODiG+CC) program is an initiative supported by the SUNY system aiming to: (1) increase the number and share of excellent diverse community college faculty committed to advancing the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion; (2) strengthen the pipeline for retention and support of these candidates; and (3) hire qualified faculty directly into tenure-track positions to support the community college's efforts to build an educated workforce in the state.

Additional Information:
The minimum annual salary for this position is $56,606. Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
