Construction Management and Technology Instructor
Position Summary
The Professional Faculty- Construction Technology & Construction Management - position is a full-time faculty position that includes instruction, office hours and professional contributions to the college community to create an innovative and engaging learning environment.
Position-Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as lead faculty for a variety of course. This includes assessing and regularly updating courses and syllabi in accordance with the WCC curriculum and assessment guidelines, as well as maintaining and updating the LMS sites for all modalities in accordance with the WCC CiTL guidelines. This also includes onboarding, training, and mentoring part-time and adjunct faculty. Initial assignment includes serving as faculty lead for the following courses: CMG 110 OSHA 10 Hour for the Construction Trades, CMG 130 Construction Site Safety and OSHA Regulations, CMG 150 Introduction to Construction Management, CMG 170 Construction Graphics, CMG 180 Application of Construction Materials, CMG 200 Construction Systems, CMG 225 Construction Builders License, CON 104 Construction Framing I, CON 105 Construction Framing II, CON 108 Introduction to Construction Technology, CON 141 Commercial Building Maintenance I, CON 145 Commercial Building Maintenance II, CON 147 Commercial Building Maintenance III, CON 149 Commercial Building Maintenance IV, CON 204 Construction Finishes - Interior, CON 205 Construction Finishes - Exterior, CON 230 Construction Production, CON 235 Construction - Building Codes and Prints, CON 240 Construction - Advanced Finishes and Techniques, CON 255 Construction Concrete and Masonry, CON 260 Construction Remodeling, CON 270 Construction Mechanicals
