"Consulting Application Developer"

Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Consulting Application Developer for the Office of Information Technology. This position reports to the Director Enterprise Business Systems within the Office of Information Technology (OIT).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Handles the end-to-end technical solution design and implementation of all new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) initiatives at Rutgers University.
• Oversees the full project lifecycle, including project planning, technical development, test plan creation, test execution, client training, and ongoing support.
• Helps develop and support the overall roadmap for deploying EPM solutions throughout the University.
• Ensures that new projects adhere to Rutgers' technical standards and are deployed consistently across the University systems.
• Maintains current knowledge on products and technology directly related to their area of focus, specifically, Oracle EPM solutions.
• Ensures that the analysts within functional areas are adequately prepared to support new initiatives as they move from development to production, providing production support when necessary.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and seven (7) years of relevant technical experience with at least 3 years implementing and supporting one or more Oracle EPM Cloud services (ARCS, FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, EDMCS or Narrative Reporting).
• Equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Prolonged computer utilization and long periods in sedentary positioning.

Special Conditions

• Availability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as the work product demands.
• Ability to work on-site one day a week with the University Office of Financial Planning, Analysis and Budget and/or the University Controller's Office during the
