Coordinator, Campus Support Services
Job Summary
This role provides technical support for campus media and computing environments, ensuring reliable operation of equipment, systems, and user services. The incumbent will support daily technology needs, coordinate issue resolution, and contribute to the effective management and documentation of technology resources and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements
• Coordinates and completes scheduled classroom and event technology setups; ensures media and computing equipment are fully operational and ready for use
• Provides responsive technical support for instructional and administrative needs, including urgent or time-sensitive classroom technology issues
• Performs routine diagnostics, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance on media, A/V, and computing equipment; escalates complex hardware issues as appropriate
• Installs, configures, and supports integrated audio-visual (A/V) and control systems, including video conferencing, cabling, signal termination, and equipment rack setup
• Supports troubleshooting and resolution of campus and district technology issues in coordination with networking and infrastructure teams
• Collaborates with Asset Management to maintain accurate inventory and asset records for classroom media, A/V, and computing equipment, including lifecycle tracking and database update
• Maintains technical documentation, operating procedures, and system configurations; coordinates with vendors and service providers as necessary for advanced technical support, replacement of defective software, and product updates
• Performs system testing, configuration, and troubleshooting of integrated A/V control systems (Extron/Crestron) and desktop environments (Windows Policy/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager); supports resolution of classroom media and endpoint technology issues
Service Excellence
• Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
• Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
• Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leadership

Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
• At least one (1) year's working experience working with Crestron and Extron equipment
• Current Extron Certification
• Current IT Project Management Certification or equivalent IT Certification
• Current MS System Center Configuration Manager / Intune Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
• Skilled in operating various audio-visual equipment (AVMatrix control systems, projectors, audio/sound, and flat panel displays)
• Skilled in organizational skills
• Skilled using Extron, Creston, Windows Group Policy (GPO), and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in collaborative environments, including engagement with cross-functional teams and multiple levels of leadership
• Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
• Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with faculty and staff to support timely completion of College deliverables

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Compensation Details
Starting Pay - $62,600; Commensurate with education and experience
Work Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Flexibility is required, as occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on department needs.
