Coordinator, Enrichment Programs (Mentoring)
About This Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join UQ as a Coordinator within our Enrichments Programs Team, making a real difference to student success.
You’ll coordinate the University’s flagship peer mentoring programs - Get Set and My Student Guide, bringing together student mentors, meaningful engagement activities and strong partnerships that support transition, belonging and retention. This is a highly student‑facing role based at St Lucia, with real impact across the student experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver end‑to‑end coordination of UQ’s peer mentoring programs, from promotion through to continuous improvement
- Recruit, train and support student mentors, fostering engagement, capability and a strong sense of community
- Build effective partnerships and events that enhance student participation, recognition and program impact
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience supporting student engagement, volunteering or mentoring programs
- Proven experience coordinating multiple programs or initiatives, managing competing priorities and delivering to timelines
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build effective partnerships
- Highly organised, with advanced administrative skills and confidence using digital systems for data, communications and reporting
- Experience planning and delivering events or activities, ensuring smooth logistics and positive participant experiences
- Strong analytical and reporting capability, using insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
